Job Description

Zycus is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer for our ITIS team in Pune / Bangalore. This position reports to the Operations Specialist - ITIS.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues related to Microsoft products, including Windows 7/8/10, Outlook, File & Print services, MS Office, and various business applications.
• Installation, configuration, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues related to technology peripherals such as desktops, thin clients, laptops, printers, and scanners.
• Migration and deployment of desktops and laptops as per company standards.
• Communicating with overseas customers and resolving desktop-related issues using remote tools like MS Teams, Skype for Business, and WebEx.
• Supporting desktop maintenance, security maintenance, virus updates, and patch management.
• Interacting with technical personnel at various levels and addressing technical issues with non-technical associates.

Ideal Candidate Should Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree – BE / B.TECH / MCA.
• Ability to troubleshoot operating systems, hardware, and software.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Understanding of Office 365.
• Good logical ability and time management skills.
• Smart approach towards incident management.
• Ability to communicate with overseas customers and resolve issues using remote tools like MS Teams, Skype for Business, and WebEx.
