Data Entry Specialist - Remote

Job Overview:

• Responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing data in Google Sheets and QuickBooks
• Ensure accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records to support smooth business operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and update data in Google Sheets and QuickBooks
• Process invoices, receipts, bills, and payments in QuickBooks
• Maintain job costing records for tracking expenses and budgets
• Organize, clean, and verify data for accuracy and completeness
• Perform bank reconciliations and basic financial checks
• Create and update reports, spreadsheets, and summaries
• Support administrative tasks such as digital filing and record organization
• Communicate with internal teams about missing or unclear data
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and company information

Qualifications:

• Experience in data entry, bookkeeping, or administrative support
• Proficient in Google Sheets (formulas, formatting, and data organization)
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online or Desktop (required)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles is a plus
• Experience in construction or contracting industry is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
