Job Description

• Role: Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship – IT Infrastructure
• Duration: 12-month apprenticeship program offering a blend of theoretical learning and on-the-job training.
• Gain exposure to the industry, develop essential soft skills, and adapt to a professional corporate environment at Russell Investments.

Eligibility

• Graduate or diploma holder in Science, Engineering, Humanities, or Commerce.
• Should not be self-employed.
• Should not be enrolled in any other government-funded programs.
• Should not be practicing professionally at the time of application.
• Should not be registered on the EPF/ESIC portal.
• Must have Aadhaar linked to personal mobile number and personal email address (mandatory).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems such as MSSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle.
• Monitor database performance and support performance issue identification.
• Learn and assist with basic backup, restore, and recovery procedures.
• Shadow senior database administrators and assist with daily operations.
• Support routine troubleshooting tasks under supervision.
• Stay updated on emerging database technologies and industry best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Recent graduates with BE/BTech (IT, Computers), MCA, MSc IT, or related qualifications.
• Basic knowledge of databases, SQL queries, and NoSQL concepts is preferred.
• Passionate about database administration.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Flexible to work across different time zones for global collaboration.
• Certifications or academic projects related to databases are an added advantage (optional).
