Job Description:

• This position reports into a Senior Software Engineering Manager and will be based in our Bangalore office.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, test, and maintain code for software applications with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Work with senior engineers and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to improve code quality and learn best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Contribute to backend development and infrastructure, with mentorship and guidance from senior team members.
• Write documentation for new and existing features, ensuring clarity and consistency.
• Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to continuously improve development processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to contribute fresh ideas and approaches.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 0-2 years of experience in software development, with strong coding skills in languages like Java, Ruby, Python, or C#.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Enthusiasm for backend technologies and willingness to gain experience in backend development.
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset and openness to feedback.
