Graduate Trainee Job Description

• We are searching for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our new Engineering graduate trainee program.
• As an Engineering graduate trainee, your responsibilities include shadowing various staff members, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops, and travelling to other working environments to gain practical experience.
• You should keep an accurate record of your time at the company and be able to pass a competency test at the end of the program.
• To be successful as an Engineering graduate trainee, you should be willing to learn about aspects of the company that lie outside of your department.
• An outstanding graduate trainee should foster good relationships with staff members and leave a lasting imprint.

Engineering Graduate Trainee Responsibilities

• Gathering as much information on the company and participating in on-the-job training, classroom training sessions, and shadowing senior engineers.
• Understanding new requirements and coming up with designs for new features.
• Handling problems reported from the field and coming up with quick resolution, workaround, recovery, and fixes.
• Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding.
• Attending and contributing to company development meetings.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for code, designs, and procedures.
• Writing and maintaining code and working on minor bug fixes.
• Producing clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Testing and deploying programs and systems.
• Fixing and improving existing software.
• Recommending and executing improvements.
• Bringing positive energy into the company, and forming lasting professional relationships with staff.
• Upholding the good name of the company at all times.
• Writing a test or submitting to some other form of evaluation at the end of the graduate program.

Engineering Graduate Trainee Requirements

• BE/B Tech degree in any discipline. Only 2024 course completing candidates.
• Basic ERP Knowledge, such as ERPNext, SAP, Oracle’s SaaS ERP, MS Dynamics or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of business processes, ERP development tools, and coding languages such as Python and JavaScript.
• Excellent research abilities and a willingness to grow.
• Superb problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• A positive attitude and a growth mindset.
