What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for HackerEarth’s web and API products.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to define test strategies.
• Write, review, and execute both manual and automated test cases.
• Implement UI and API test automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright, etc.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests are part of every release.
• Track, report, and troubleshoot bugs effectively across the development lifecycle.
• Ensure a high level of test coverage and reliability across environments.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in a QA Automation or SDET role.
• Good understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
• Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks for UI and/or API testing.
• Experience with tools like Selenium or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Startup mindset with the ability to own responsibilities end-to-end and work in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of testing in microservices-based environments.
• Awareness of accessibility and security testing principles.
