Role: Associate Software Engineer

About the Role

• As an Associate Software Engineer at Deltek, you will be part of the Integration Center of Excellence team.
• The role involves requirements analysis, developing integrations and automations, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• 2025 B.E./B.Tech passouts in CSE/IT/ECE with at least 70% aggregate.
• Good academic record with no backlogs.
• Basic knowledge of software development.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar.
• Experience in object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
• Knowledge in areas like web/mobile app development, distributed systems, machine learning, NLP, networking, or security software development.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms through academic/professional projects or open-source contributions.
• Strong English communication skills for technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration and automation solutions based on technical specifications.
• Support testing activities including integration, end-to-end (business process), and UAT testing.
• Stay aware of CI/CD, engineering best practices, and the SDLC process.
• Maintain a strong understanding of all existing integration and automation processes.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for integration solutions across various industries.
• Deliver projects within stipulated timelines.
• Communicate complex technical ideas to a non-technical audience.
• Maintain quality and adhere to SLA, process, and security policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve integration and automation issues.
