We Are Hiring: 2024 and 2025 Graduate Software Engineers

• Join engineering teams around the world as part of a global platform company.
• Work on both open source products and commercial business systems.
• Use a variety of languages including Python, Golang, Rust, C/C++, JavaScript, and Bash.
• Engage with low-level Linux components like BIOS, firmware, kernel, and drivers, as well as high-level systems such as desktop applications and containers.
• Develop for devices from Raspberry Pi to supercomputers and Kubernetes clusters.
• Contribute to compilers, toolchains, security, cryptography, performance, documentation, and more.
• Collaborate on large-scale packaging or deep-code contributions.

Location

• This is a globally remote role.

The Role Entails

• Shaping the roadmap for your product at global sprints every six months.
• Focusing on design and user experience, including for developer tooling and CLI apps.
• Writing high-quality, resilient, and performant code for millions of users.
• Working towards mastery in programming languages and Linux system knowledge.
• Engaging with users and the open source community via code reviews and issue trackers.
• Responding to customer issues and understanding enterprise requirements.
• Developing skills in secure software design and implementation.

What We Are Looking For In You

• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or another STEM field with programming courses.
• Confidence to deliver high-quality code in one of Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution.
• Track record of exceeding expectations and achieving outstanding results.
• Result-oriented and organized with a strong drive to meet commitments.
• Personal technology projects beyond academic requirements.
• Professional written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.
• Self-awareness, thoughtfulness, and the ability to reflect and grow.
• Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
