Responsibilities

• Deliver high-performance software solutions using software architecture patterns, best practices, and aspect-oriented programming.
• Collaborate with architects to build the right solution the first time.
• Work closely with product teams to ensure solutions align with business vision and are delivered on schedule.
• Partner with operations and support staff to ensure successful production delivery and smooth hand-off post-release.

Qualifications

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 0+ years of software development experience with core Java and J2EE.
• Expertise in Java with practical experience using JDK 1.6 or above.
• Proficiency in Spring and Struts frameworks and in writing multithreaded applications.
• Experience with RESTful architecture and REST Web Services implementation.
• Database design expertise with DB2 or Oracle and strong knowledge of SQL.
• Strong Object-Oriented (OO) Design and development skills.
• Creative problem solver with excellent communication skills.
• Experience in the finance or payment industry is a plus.
