Job Description

• Responsible for cybersecurity guidelines implementation for applications hosted in Baker cloud infrastructure.
• Assist customer and deployment teams in implementing cybersecurity guidelines for applications hosted in customer cloud environments.
• Define the framework and processes for cybersecurity for applications hosted in Baker infrastructure.
• Define tools and processes needed for maintaining the security of applications in consultation with the Product Architecture team and Baker IT security team.
• Collaborate with architects, independent researchers, and in-house researchers to identify, rate, report, and manage product vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Engage in incident response methods and lead incident response processes related to product cybersecurity.
• Create and track meaningful metrics around product cyber risks and compensating controls for infrastructure and applications.
• Create vulnerability and incident trend analyses to improve infrastructure.
• Maintain cyber Bills of Material and conduct proactive vulnerability monitoring and assessment on cyber components.

To Be Successful in This Traineeship, You Will

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
• Have knowledge of Azure or AWS cybersecurity.
• Possess scripting skills such as Python, PowerShell, and knowledge of databases.
• Demonstrate tenacity as a problem solver with an innate curiosity and passion for solving difficult problems.
• Quickly identify and analyze technical risks and impacts, define alternatives, and prioritize solutions to remove roadblocks.
• Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills and be a highly motivated self-starter.
• Have graduated with a bachelor’s degree within the last 24 months.
• Achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Be fluent in written and spoken English with effective communication skills.
