About the Role

As an Engineering Intern at Vymo, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on a fast-paced product used by some of the world’s leading financial institutions. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and PMs, contribute to real projects, and grow your skills in a high-impact environment.

What You’ll Work On

• Assist in designing and building scalable systems and tools under mentorship.
• Contribute to product features and enhancements across the stack.
• Debug issues and help improve the performance of existing systems.
• Write clean and maintainable code with guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and frontend teams.
• Learn and apply best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• Familiarity with backend development concepts, databases, and servers.
• Hands-on experience with at least one language: Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Exposure to relational/NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Enthusiastic, curious, and open to learning in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kafka, Redis, or Airflow.
• Awareness of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Eligibility

• Pursuing B.E/B.Tech (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related fields.
• Previous internship experience is a plus but not mandatory.
