Overview
- The Generation Google Scholarship: for women in computer science supports students pursuing degrees in computer science to become future tech leaders.
- Selected students will receive $2,500 USD for the 2025–2026 academic year.
- Scholarship is awarded based on leadership, academic performance, and financial need.
Who Can Apply?
- Must be enrolled full-time as a second or third year undergraduate student at an accredited university in Asia Pacific for the 2024–2025 academic year
- Intend to continue full-time Bachelors studies in the 2025–2026 academic year
- Studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Demonstrated leadership and strong academic record
- Demonstrate financial need
- Children of Google employees are not eligible
- Those ineligible are encouraged to visit the Google Careers for Students page for alternative opportunities
Application Process
- Complete an online application including:
- General background information (contact details, university info)
- Resume/CV
- Two letters of recommendation
- Academic transcripts (unofficial accepted)
- Short answer essay responses
- Prepare the following for upload:
- PDF copy of your resume
- PDF copy of your current or most recent academic transcript

- Application Deadline: Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:59 PM U.S. Pacific Time or until 1,250 eligible applications are received
- Recommendation Letter Deadline: Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11:59 PM U.S. Pacific Time
