Job Description
Zycus is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer for its internal IT team. Candidates should have good knowledge of
Network and IT infrastructure and good communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Installation, configuration, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to Microsoft products
viz. Microsoft client operating systems (Windows7/ Windows8, Windows10), Email (Outlook), File & Print
service, MS office, and various business applications etc.
Installation, configuration, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to all technology
peripherals viz. desktops, thin clients, laptop, printers and scanners etc.
Migration and Deployment of Desktops and laptops build as per company standards.
Communicating with overseas customers and solving their desktop related problems by using remote tools
like Skype for Business, Web Ex etc.
Supporting desktop maintenance, security maintenance, including virus updates and patch management.
Interacting with technical people at a variety of levels as well as the ability to address technical
issues with non-technical associates.
Job Requirement
Ideal candidate would have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MCA/BCA, Msc-IT.
Freshers can apply.
Nice to have 1-2 years of experience in troubleshooting operating systems, hardware & software.
Good communication skills.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Experience in Office 365.
Good logical ability & time management skills.
Smart approach towards incident management.
The ability to communicate with overseas customers and problem-solving ability by using remote tools
like Microsoft Teams, Web Ex etc.
