Qualifications:
- B.E/M.E/MCA or a relevant degree.
- 2 years of applicable experience.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environment.
- Strong command of Unix/Linux commands.
- Hands-on experience with scripting or test automation using Python/Shell Scripting.
- Basic comprehension of Linux Kernel.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms (Tools like Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory, among others).
- Preferable knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and Security.
- Preferred proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting on Linux platforms.
- Hands-on familiarity with Perf and Memory leak/check tools is a plus.
- Understanding of SCRUM methodologies is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Your role involves designing and developing automated tools or frameworks for highly efficient test coverage.
- Collaboration with leads, senior engineers, and Product Owner to craft test plans based on functional/design specifications. Ensuring test coverage meets requirements and customer scenarios are integrated into testing.
- Proactive planning for automation maintenance efforts while comprehending the impact of changes on automation.
- Support in software release rollout, CI/CD, and patch automation.
- Assistance to seniors in owning product quality areas and managing related customer deliveries.
- Developing a profound grasp of the overall product architecture and contributing effectively within a cross-functional, globally distributed agile team.
- Understanding the implications of design choices on customer upgrade paths and contributing insights to design discussions.
- Adapting to demanding schedules and evolving requirements.
- Providing support for customer requests and aiding seniors in diagnosing and analyzing customer issues, including root cause analysis.
