Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Power and Life Science customers within India, both on-site and virtually.
- Perform routine tests and analyses focusing on thermal interface material, potting compound, conformal coating, encapsulants, structural and elastomeric adhesives, etc.
- Maintain technical expertise and skills in line with the SBU/SU strategy.
- Report laboratory results and methods according to accepted standards and communicate with internal/external customers.
- Prepare test matrices, conduct various tests using lab equipment, and analyze results. Use digital tools like Albert, Nautilus, and ACE to submit test reports.
- Respond quickly to customer and field AE test requests and provide qualified test reports.
- Conduct all laboratory work safely, using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), adhering to site safety practices, using laboratory equipment, maintaining 5S, etc., and managing lab equipment maintenance and calibration activities.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage various adhesive dispensing equipment handling HMA, TIM, Silicone, Modified Silane & Anaerobic chemistry.
Education and Skills
- Minimum 0-1 year related experience, preferably laboratory experience or technical services in a lab.
- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer/Chemistry or a relevant field.
- Ability to work independently, communicate with laboratory members, and maintain organized records/reports.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Advanced user of MS Office applications.
- Ability to understand products associated with assigned technologies.
- Excellent hands-on and equipment competency.
