Associate Professional Technical Support:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Additional Qualifications:
Solid analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
Work Environment:
Office setting.
May entail shift work.
Job Description:
Addresses issues related to system function(s) that have been escalated via a problem ticket process.
Offers diagnostic insights and identifies alternative solutions.
Manages execution of installation, movement, addition, and change (ICMS) tasks, encompassing intricate activities involving integrated equipment and systems.
Delivers adept technical counsel and input in the creation of new service offerings or technologies. Collaborates with desktop engineering teams on developing the standard operating environment (SOE) for accounts and related undertakings, ensuring timely, cost-effective client service.
Imparts guidance and instruction to the client community concerning systems and products. Provides recommendations for enhancements when applicable, striving to eliminate recurring errors.
Maintains updated knowledge of technological, process, or other advancements specific to the line of service. This ensures team performance and the realization of team objectives.
Generates data for daily metric reporting.
Produces systems software and hardware documentation, and assesses system data where pertinent.
Suggests and implements improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Offers technical support for project endeavors; contributes as a project team member in technical capacities. This includes enhancing or conceptualizing solutions for clients, creating new scripts and diagnostic tools for issue resolution, and facilitating transition or transformation activities for novel accounts.
